Instance & virtual machine benchmarks

The evaluation for the different series of instances offered by cloud service providers use the High Performance Conjugate-Gradient (HPCG) benchmark. The results represent a baseline for each series before the deployment of clusters:

Cost estimates

The cost estimate represents an assessment based on pay-as-you-go or on-demand prices. This is an estimate based only on computational power & memory and should only be used as a starting point. Most cloud service providers offer significant savings based on different plans and the final cost requires a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) evaluation.
