Our Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) are available from the AWS Marketplace and provide a complete package to launch different HPC apps on AWS EC2. The AMIs have dual functionality as they can be used to launch both single instances and clusters.

These AMIs work better with AMD EPYC 3 powered instances (families c6a, m6a, and hpc6a). Version 2 includes WRF v4.4, CMAQ v 5.3.3. and CAMx v7.10. WRF v4.4 allows simultaneous parallel I/O and compression via HDF5 (v1.12.2). For WRF v4.3.3, use version 1 of the AMI.

These AMIs work better with Intel powered insatnces. Version 4 includes WRF v4.4, which allows simultaneous parallel I/O and compression via HDF5 (v1.12.2). For WRF v4.3.3, use version 3 of the AMI.
